Dayspring Organization Programs in Kenya
Materials for Learning
To broaden our impact, we are actively seeking sponsorships to cover school fees, uniforms, and supplies for the children of our teenage mothers. Additionally, we continually welcome donations for the purchase of materials for our Vocational Training program, including sewing machines, fabric, stoves, cooking utensils, and ingredients. Our goal for this year is to further enhance our training by introducing Digital Literacy classes, equipping our students with the skills and materials needed to thrive in today's technology-driven world.
Continuing Education for Teachers
We create bespoke continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful.
Vocational Training
We are committed to offering continuous training in a diverse range of trades, ensuring that our students acquire the skills necessary to sustain themselves and secure their livelihoods. Upon completion of training, students participate in a celebratory graduation.
Support for Communities
Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning. Students bring their knowledge and skills back into the community helping to improve overall conditions in their environment.
Feeding Children Program
To ensure our teenage mothers are set up for success in learning, we provide nutritious meals to both students and children. We firmly believe that when basic needs are met, students are better equipped to engage effectively in their studies, fostering an environment where learning thrives.
